My how the year is flying is it really July already? The picnics and fireworks say so!

July is a really BIG month! It is the crest of the middle of the year. It is a time of: Vacation Bible School; Family vacations; making hay and so on. It is a time for us as a church to take a new beginning.

I celebrate July as a new beginning for us at Corvallis UMC as I am now your “new” pastor. New in the sense of living in the community and preaching every Sunday!!!

I look forward to other new beginnings as we seek God together.

As we know, many people are moving into the Bitterroot. They need the Lord whether they know it or not, but we know because we need Him too.

As the song “People Need the Lord” says in part – People need the Lord, at the end of broken dreams He is the only way.

God bless you as you celebrate your relationship with Christ and the wonderful opportunities and responsibilities to serve him.
